Low risk febrile neutropenia program toolkit
The NO PLACE LIKE HOME project has introduced safe, effective, best international practice in cancer care by sending patients at a low risk of developing febrile neutropenia home safely. We have had high rates of patient acceptability across 4 Victorian centres (Austin Health, Monash Medical Centre and Royal Children’s Hospital) and have developed an implementation toolkit to help others implement this program in their own hospitals.
The development of this toolkit is co-funded by Better Care Victoria and Cancer Strategy, Department of Health and Human Services.
